Registration for the 2023-2024 Season is NOW AVAILABLE!

WELCOME

Welcome to the 2023-2024 hockey season with the Charleston Amateur Hockey Association (CAHA).  We’re excited to kick off our season in just a few short weeks!  As our program continues to grow and evolve, we strive to improve the experience for players each year. 

SEASON START

You and your family are invited to the Season Open House on Friday, August 18th, 7:30-9:30 p.m.  We will have door prizes, raffles, and lots of fun. 

Our Youth Travel and High School programs will begin practice September 11th.  Looking ahead, the BTHL seeding tournaments for A teams will be the weekend of September 16-17, 2023; more information will be announced as it is made available.  

We will offer various Learn to Play (previously known as our House/Development Team) sessions throughout this season.  These sessions will focus on developing the fundamentals of hockey and preparing the player for competition. We will post more information on LTP as it becomes available. 

FEES AND PRACTICE TIMES

Below are the 2023-2024 registration fees and on-ice practice schedules.  Information regarding jersey orders for both the Wild and Chiefs will be available by the end of August. 

LTP:  Session Dates to Be Determined

8U Travel:  $450 (Practice:  Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:45pm)

10U Travel:  $500 (Practice:  Mondays and Tuesdays at 6:45pm)

12U Travel:  $500 (Practice:  Mondays at 7:45pm and Thursdays at 6:45pm)

14U Travel:  $550 (Practice:  Mondays at 6:45pm and Wednesdays at 7:45pm)

High School:  $700 (Practice:  Mondays at 8:45pm, Tuesdays at 7:45pm and Thursdays at 7:45pm)

*As always, full-time goalies at 12U and older will receive a 50% fee reduction.

REGISTRATION

Registration for Youth Travel (8U through 14U) and High School is currently available.  Please click on the following link to register:  https://wvwildhockey.sportngin.com/register/form/790651009 

An optional payment plan is offered and splits the registration fee into 6 payments, the first due when you register and the remaining 5 installments due on the 1st of each month October through February.  Players must be registered for the season prior to attending practice. 

As always, we aim to create a fun environment to promote the growth and enthusiasm for the sport of hockey.  We believe ice hockey is one of the best ways to teach the lifelong skills of respect, teamwork and determination, and we are committed to eliminating the barriers to participation.  If you anticipate financial barriers will prevent your player from participating this year, we encourage you to reach out to a CAHA Board Member regarding financial assistance options available to help.  We look forward to an exciting season and aim to provide the best youth hockey program to all participants!
