West Virginia Wild
The West Virginia Wild youth hockey teams are a part of the Charleston Amateur Hockey Association (CAHA).
All WV Wild teams participate in the Buckeye Travel Hockey League (BTHL) and are members of USA Hockey.
Ages
Our youth program is available for kids ages 5 thru 8th grade. Players will begin in a Learn to Play (LTP) program and advance to our House and Travel teams as they develop.
When
The season starts Monday, August 31 and runs through the beginning of March.

Practices
Teams typically practice 2 days a week.
2026-2027 Practice Schedule:
8U/LTP - Tues 5:45pm / Thurs 5:15pm
10U - Mon 6:45pm / Wed 7:45pm
12U - Tues 6:45pm / Thurs 6:15pm
14U - Mon 7:45pm / Thurs 7:15pm
Games
The number of games played each season varies based on the team. Except for the occasional tournament, games are typically played on the weekends.
Jerseys
Team jerseys and socks are required and are purchased separate from registration.
Extra Costs
Additional tournament fees or special practices will be billed separately as incurred throughout the season.

2026 - 2027 SEASON
This registration session will allow you to complete all information necessary to sign up for participation on any of the WV Wild teams (8U, 10U, 12U or 14U) for the 2026-2027 season. A separate registration is available for our High School Chiefs program. Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately.
